On the firmware side, the X-Pro 3 offers two new film simulation settings: Classic Neg and Eterna, along with some further JPG fine-tuning via a few new adjustments: "Black and White", Clarity, Tone Curve, and Color Chrome. It also sports better autofocus, more flexible video codecs, and an improved viewfinder. On paper, the updated 4th-gen X-Trans sensor in the X-Pro 3 has an increase in megapixels to 26.1MP, slightly better shadow recovery, and slightly worse ISO performance in low-light (although both are negligible and shouldn't really influence your buying decision). The X-Pro 3 is a fantastic camera, pushing the rangefinder form factor and usability even further into the purist realm.
